FIRST MEETING & BRAINSTORMING:
August 29, 2011: Third Year and Fourth Year students met up with Mrs. Ritchelle Blanco Dejolde, a Master Teacher in English, to discuss the focus in the school's entry to the DPSA Anong Kwento Mo Contest.
It was a surprise to see non-ICT major students who were interested to join Mrs. Dejolde ( fondly called by students as Ma'am Sky), but she took it as a new challenge to mobilize those who have genuine interest in using computer technology and social networking on the internet.
TASK BUILDING:
After trimming down the size of the team (INCAT Natan-ok), each member was given a specific task to avoid confusion. These assigned tasks can be viewed in our Team Profile page.
RESEARCH:
Aside from getting information at I-Hub ( Provincial Library), INCAT Natan-ok interviewed resource persons like the museum curators, travelled to the different hometowns of our chosen Ilocanos considered as "natan-ok", took pictures of tangible materials or possessions and recorded footages of the research process. The team also did web research.
TOOLS:
FOR VIDEOS, the first gadget we had was lent to us by Mr. Eugenio P. Pedro, Vocational Superintendent 1. It's a Sony video camera. Other gadgets were brought by the team members themselves. For sharper shoots and results, a Nikon D300 and another Sony Video camera were used.
FOR STILL PICTURES, Canon 1000D and NikonD3000 were used.
FOR EDITING PICTURES, the team utilized 3 versions of Adobe Photoshop.
